Welcome to our Practice!
The goal of our Clinic is to improve your digestive health. From the receptionist to your attending physician, we are dedicated to providing you with the best possible care. Seeing your Gastroenterologist is the first step to a healthier way of living.
Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Fri). It is important that your appointment is convenient for you, so please:
- Call for an appointment several days in advance if possible.
- Describe the nature of the problem to the receptionist.
- Bring your insurance card and all current medications.
- Be prepared to spend 20 minutes of your time discussing paperwork and prep.
- Notify us as soon as possible if you need to postpone your appointment.
Your Calls Are Important
If you have a question or concern, please call our office. Your message will be relayed to the nurse. If your call is not an emergency, it may be later in the day before it is returned. Often the nurse will convey the doctor’s response to you concerning your problem. This allows the doctor to spend more personal time with in-office patients.
If you have an emergency, sometimes every second counts. It is best to go immediately to the emergency room of the hospital nearest you. At the emergency room, a physician will examine you, and if needed, contact your gastroenterologist.
Insurance Information and Medical Fees
We strive to provide the highest quality of care as efficiently and as economically as possible. The Gastroenterology Clinic’s staff is trained to assist you with any questions regarding costs associated with your care.
For your convenience, our insurance staff will file your insurance. You need to bring all insurance information to your appointment. We will work with your insurance company in paying your claim; however, you are ultimately responsible for payment of your account. We accept Medicare and most commercial insurance plans. Please contact us with any specific questions about your policy.
If needed, we will work together to develop a mutually agreeable financial arrangement.
As our patient you have the right to privacy and confidentiality regarding your office visit and medical records. Information pertaining to any patient is strictly confidential by federal/state law and by medical ethics rules. We do not release any patient information without the written authorization of the patient.
Our premises have been structured to accommodate those patients with physical limitations. If you speak a language other than English, language assistance services are available to you free of charge. If you need any other special assistance, please let us know prior to your appointment.
